Description of the Course

This course introduces kids to the basics of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence simply and engagingly. Students will learn how computers work, how we interact with them, and how they 'understand' us. They will also explore programming and design their own games using Scratch. The course focuses on creativity, teamwork, and curiosity toward technology. This course is designed for beginners and kids who are new to computers, programming, and AI.

 

Objective of the Course

By the end of this course, students will be able to understand the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. They will learn the fundamentals of computers — how they work, how we interact with them, and how they “understand” us.
Students will also develop problem-solving and logical thinking skills, learn the basics of programming, and design their own interactive games using Scratch.
The course aims to inspire creativity, teamwork, and curiosity about technology.

Today, our world runs on programming — from phones to apps to AI — and that’s why it’s so important to teach kids how to code and understand computers from an early age.

  • 24 interactive sessions covering computer and AI basics and Machine Learning.
  • Hands-on activities and game design using Scratch.
  • Mini projects to apply what they learn.
  • Fun quizzes and discussions to reinforce understanding.

Eng. Mayar is a passionate Computer Science engineer with hands-on experience teaching programming and AI to kids aged 10+. Mayar is skilled at breaking down complex tech concepts into fun, engaging lessons. She combines strong technical knowledge with clear communication and creative teaching methods to inspire young learners and build their confidence in tech. 

 

Mayar is a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Science instructor with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. She has worked with various educational academies, where she helped teach computer, programming, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts to kids. Mayar is passionate about technology, coding, and teaching, and she enjoys creating fun, interactive learning experiences and helping students understand how computers think and learn.

 

Mayar's education in the Faculty of Computers and Information, with further academic courses and skills such as cybersecurity, computer network, Database & SQL server. Mayar has built a full beginner-friendly curriculum from scratch and helped students with no background create their own first AI projects in a fun manner.
