French for Beginners
Course Description:
The course focuses on developing comprehensive French language skills across reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with a strong emphasis on practical communication and cultural immersion. Interactive methods will build vocabulary, master grammar, and gain confidence in real-life French scenarios
Objective of the Course:
By the end of this course, students will be able to confidently engage in basic conversations and understand simple written texts. They will also gain a deeper understanding of French culture and customs.
Course Content:
The course will include structured lectures on grammar and vocabulary, interactive assignments to practice all four language skills, and regular quizzes to track progress. Authentic materials like French songs, short videos, and simplified texts will be incorporated for a dynamic learning experience.
Materials: The primary textbooks used will be 'Nouveaux Taxi' and 'Casse-Tête,' supplemented with additional materials as needed.
Students will need. access to a stable internet connection and a microphone/headset for online sessions.
Levels Needed:
This course is designed for beginners and intermediate students (A1, A2, B1, B2)
Level Exam/Placement Test:
A short placement test will be administered before the course begins to accurately assess each student's current French proficiency and ensure they are placed in the most appropriate level.
Mrs. Dania is a French language instructor who graduated from Aleppo University, Syria. Dania obtained a pedagogical qualification diploma in 2021. She has the experience of working in national and international schools such as Al-Ibdaa school, Tayyiba school, and New Vision school, and is currently at Notion International School. Dania also worked in various regional educational entities, online & offline, with over 5 years of experience.
